Coffee and Cinnamon Body Scrub
Coffee is great for waking some of us up in the morning, but did you know it can also perk up your skin?
Caffeine has awesome benefits for your skin, from treating redness and inflammation, to helping reduce the appearance of cellulite.
By incorporating caffeine into your skin care routine, you can show off a smooth, evenly toned skin!
Here’s a recipe you can make at home.
Coffee and Cinnamon Scrub
1 Cup granulated coffee
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Sea Salt
Approximately 10 Tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Mix coffee & sugar into a bowl. I used white sugar but you could use raw, brown, or caster sugar.
Grind sea salt & cinnamon together in a mortar & pestle until its the desired consistency and add it to the sugar mix.
Add in the coconut oil slowly and mix well. You may like to add more or less oil to make your scrub runnier or drier.
Use this in the shower 2-3 times a week.
For best results use a generous amount of the scrub while you are in a warm shower.
Rub the mixture vigorously over your body, using large, circular motions
then rinse the scrub completely from your skin, making sure to remove all the sugar and coffee residue.
